A perfect dinner is often sought, but rarely attained…unless it’s at Alexander’s Steakhouse Cupertino. We’ve experienced a consistent level of service here time and again. On a cold night, our table for 3 was near the firehouse display. The temperature was comfortable and the noise level low. A birthday card for Dean was on the table commemorating the event. Our waiter was accommodating, informative (describing food and drinks), and his sense of timing was on point. The beer and cocktails were elegantly served. After sampling the various textures and flavors of the croissants, ciabatta bread and seeded crackers (with the best butter!), the amuse-bouche of tuna tartare was served. It was delicious and cleansed our our palettes for the appetizers: hamachi shots. Perfect. Later, our split for 3 wedge salad, with candied bacon and Point Reyes blue cheese, was simply delightful. Dinner steaks (split bone ribeye, dry aged bone-in New York and filet mignon) were cooked to perfection. Our desserts were expertly prepared and, coupled with complimentary chilled Prosecco and sweet raspberry pate candies, were a fitting end to this night of gastronomy.

We were here for our 7th wedding anniversary and the service and food were superb. We would like to thank Taylor for being attentive and on top of everything which made our night extra special. The highlight of our menu was the truffle mushroom soup and the dry aged t bone steak. We’ll definitely be back!

First disappointing visit to Alexander's ever. Always come here for the excellent dry aged beef. This night, however, service was exceptionally slow even though the restaurant wasn't overly busy. The steaks were mixed. My steak was ordered to be medium and came as ordered. My friends porterhouse, ordered at medium-rare came out raw once he got into the center nearer to the bone. It was too late to send it back so he simply abandoned trying to eat it and didn't sent it back when the server offered. Never had a steak her before this severely undercooked.

I booked this place for a birthday dinner with my boyfriend, and while the food was excellent, there were a few hiccups that left us disappointed overall. We started the night with cocktails, but unfortunately, the service was a bit slow. My boyfriend’s drink arrived first, but mine took around 15 minutes to come, even after we had to remind the staff. By the time mine arrived, his drink was already warm, which was frustrating since we were hoping to toast together. The food itself was fantastic, and the atmosphere was nice, but we did encounter a few service-related issues. There were a couple of instances where wine was spilled onto the white tablecloth while being poured, which seemed like an avoidable mistake. Towards the end of the night, we asked about taking home the empty bottle of Louis XIII, a common gesture when finishing a bottle of this caliber. Initially, a server said it would be possible, but later, another server told us they would need to check with the manager. When the manager came over, we were told that due to "scams and scam artists," we wouldn't be able to keep the bottle. I found this explanation to be both surprising and insulting—it felt as though we were being unfairly lumped into a group of people causing issues. Overall, while the food was memorable, the service and the way certain situations were handled left a bad taste. Given the experience, we’re unlikely to return. It's a shame because the food had potential, but the overall experience didn't live up to expectations.

Everything is superior the atmosphere, the chef and his team, the Wait Team especially the dynamic duo of Tiffany and Jocelyn . When I made my reservation with Mike, he remembered me and always goes out of his way to accommodate any of my requests. Then management is like no other when it comes to Radim - he is the top of the top of the highest level of hospitality I call him the “ KING” of Hospitality !!! He truly makes everybody feel like royalty It is such an honor to dine at Alexander’s steakhouse. It transforms me and guests into the “Gates of Heaven” dining experience

Our table of four shared a Porterhouse, Ribeye and New York Strip. Each steak was prepared to perfection, medium-rare, as we had requested. The sides were brussel sprouts, mac 'n cheese and mashed potatoes. We were celebrating our daughter just having acquired a "starter" townhome in San Jose and the staff did a great job of putting us into a celebratory mood. From beginning the evening with a complimentary splash of champagne to finishing it with a special dessert, and even cotton candy! Alexander's and our gracious server, Amelie made it a tasty and memorable night out for all of us.
