Only one complaint the table for 2 is too tight. Makes it uncomfortable to eat. Food and service top notch

The restaurant staff is excellent. They are attentive and kind and the atmosphere is warm and takes you to another place. We celebrated my wife’s birthday and the restaurant was extremely accommodating and made our night wonderful. Highly recommend the filler mignon. Thank you Alexander’s !!

Great experience, I really enjoyed the gentleman who was the sitting people down and made sure to let the cooks know of any pork restrictions. Love the attention to detail.

We went to Alexander’s to celebrate my girlfriend getting a job offer and we had a very nice experience! Everyone was friendly and the food was amazing! We look forward to coming back.

Alexanders is always excellent. Food, ambience, service, the whole thing. The prosciutto and arugula bruschetta were great to start, we also had the spicy caesar salad which was really good but next im trying a different one. Meat lasagna and baked vodka bolognese were fabulous. The pinot noir that we had was just a tad too sweet for my liking but overall was great for our meal. All in all, that was just perfect for a group of four, nobody was stuffed and felt we ate enough, so of course we wrapped up dinner with some affogatos and called it a night. As always, lunch or dinner, Alexanders can't go wrong.

Starting with Oliver, our experience was stellar. Since this was a very hot week, we opted to wait a bit for a seat inside with the a/c, even though our reservation was after 7pm. Oliver got us into one of the large booths, which was superb. Riley was our waiter and super attentive. I got my usual White Room pizza (did not disappoint this time) and started with wine and the bacon, goat cheese bruschetta. Husband ordered chicken florentine. That plus the wonderful garlic bread made us both stuffed by the time dessert talk started. We took a piece of tiramisu home and it was excellent, even by the next eve. As I told Oliver, we have been coming here (for my bday and our anniversary) since 2009. We stumbled upon the Reader article about food to try in SD, and the WR pizza was included as a "do not miss". It has lived up to the hype nearly every time tried. Enjoy!
