The restaurant and bar are available for private parties from 15 to 80. We are always happy to try and accommodate any sized group. Different venues include our main dining room, seats up to 45, our bar seats 20-30, our parlor seats up to 30, and seasonal patio seating (seats up to 20). We commonly have groups reserve the whole grounds.

We always make it a point to go to Alchemy anytime we visit Ashland-they have a phenomenal wine list/excellent cocktails/the food is always delicious and the service is always great-we’ve never had even a minor complaint-I heartily recommend it 👍🏻

Always a consistent experience at Alchemy - from the food, service and vibe - it’s always great! Mushroom mushroom is a must have appetizer. My filet was cooked exactly as ordered and our server very much checked on us at all the right times. I can’t wait to come back!

Truly enjoyed this quaint 19th century home and gardens turned upscale restaurant. The food was well prepared and unique. The service was perfect.

We usually eat in the bar and this was our first time in the restaurant. It was nice to sit up there with the big kids! No meat or alcohol tonight and the possibilities were endless on the menu and we did not miss the wine while drinking the strawberry rhubarb shrub. And if your server asks if you want an order of bread, whatever you do, say, “YES!” 3 different kinds of bread with 3 different kinds of butter. We ate every bit of it! And then we were too full for dessert and the dessert menu was yummy. We come here every time we are in town and are never disappointed in the food, the wine, the presentation or the vibe. Our advice…listen to your server!

We can’t rate the food because we left 20 minutes after being seated- nobody came to take our order. During that time I waved to a waiter across the restaurant (he was cleaning up, not waiting on others) who simply waved back and smirked. I called (he didn’t bother to come over to the table) that we would like to order a drink. He said that he would send somebody over(why he couldn’t be bothered, I don’t know). But nobody arrived, so we left. The restaurant was not that busy, and another waiter was chatting away with other diners, but never bothered to look our way. We felt completely invisible, and left.

Our server Molly was so nice, attentive without being intrusive. All staff members kept an eye on us and each one was so pleasant. This level of service seems to be rare these days. As always, the meal was excellent. My husband had the filet and I had the halibut. Starter salads were delicious. This is not an inexpensive meal, but well worth the price. Of course, don't forget the house made bread course with flavored butters! We are in the area spring and fall and this is our go-to special place. We are from SF bay area and I honestly can say this restaurant is better than our favorites there. The indoor dining room is beautiful and on a nice evening we love the porch. Always a wonderful experience.
