The Castlefield Rooms offer a boutique, out of the ordinary, venue in central Manchester, in a stunning position within a conservation area on the banks of the Bridgewater Canal. With a superb location in Manchester City Centre, near all major transport links, complimentary on site parking and the highest levels of service and cuisine, the Castlefield Rooms are the perfect venue to hold your wedding, corporate event or party. We offer a choice of three contrasting spaces for anything from 25 to 250 guests together with a range of competitively priced event packages. The versatility of the spaces is also reflected in the variety of menus available from the acclaimed kitchens of Albert’s Shed Restaurant and Dukes 92 which are located on the same site as The Castlefield Rooms. Whichever space you decide on you will have our dedicated Events Team on hand to ensure the smooth and efficient running of your event.

Excellent service up to coffee, delayed , had to ask more than once for it & then the order was incorrect. Took the shine off an otherwise great meal.

The food was fabulous. Everything we had was outstanding. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was to much trouble. Will visit again

Everything was just ‘ok’, the service was patchy - forgot the water, forgot the steak sauce, forgot to check in on us (we ended up being the only people on the terrace - so getting anyone’s attention became difficult. The ‘medium’ fillet @ £36 was cooked rare, so had to be sent back (the rest of the items on the plate(chips and broccoli ) were just left under a heat lamp - rather than replaced fresh as most restaurants would. - no starters, no deserts - no bottle of wine £100.. not great to be honest

Waitresses well practised @ walking through the Resturant not looking @ customer’s. The only way for any service at all was to catch her arm. Ordered olives during long wait for food, 3 of us on table, 6 olives arrived 2 each. Food- disappointing cheese & onion pie-looked could have been as if it had been bought in from a local F&chip shop-sent back. Main dishes ok only ok. I have been many times to Albert’s at Worsley, the food, service, ambiance is first class, I find it hard to think it is ran by the same company. Before I paid our bill the manager came to speak to us, she was very apologetic, she said she had worked as a manager at the Worsley Resturant. Is Albert’s Shed in Castlefield a franchise, if it is it should be closed it’s a bad advert for the rest of your Resturant’s

We are early doors to benefit from the cheaper menu as we had done on previous occasions. As usual the food was delicious and a good variety of choices, which meant that the whole of my party had a great experience! We were surprised that only 2 tables were occupied, with such good value for money and lovely surroundings / ambiance I expected far more customers to be taking advantage of the restaurant. Great food and a great venue for a get together!
