Le restaurant-bar d'Albert est le nouvel acteur très attendu de la scène culinaire de West Didsbury. Ce nouveau restaurant constitue la seconde ouverture d'Albert, petit frère du Albert's Shed à Castlefield, dans le centre-ville de Manchester. Le nouvel espace, qui a été créé sur l'ancien site du pub Barleycorn sur Barlow Moor Road à Didsbury, vise à offrir au sud de Manchester un espace de repas moderne et soigné doté d'une salle à manger pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 160 personnes en intérieur mais aussi 60 personnes sur sa fabuleuse terrasse extérieure idéale pour manger en plein air l'été. Le menu est d'influence moderne britannique et doté d'un mélange éclectique de classiques du monde entier et de spécialités d'Albert. Chaque plat est exclusivement basé sur des ingrédients frais et locaux. Le restaurant est ouvert 7 jours par semaine pour le dîner et le souper, et ce qui constitue une première pour Albert, offre un menu brunch complet les samedi et dimanches.

As always, Albert's doesn't fail to deliver. 3rd visit now to the Didsbury branch. Excellent food quality and taste, courteous and pleasant staff members and lovely ambience.

Spur of the moment family lunch . Kids loved the make your own pizza and food was good . Sat outside and heaters kept us warm

As someone with a food allergy I am always nervous when eating out. The manager dealt with my issue with such professionalism I shall be booking Albert’s as my first choice of restaurant when in Manchester. The meal was excellent and two generations enjoyed it equally.

Had a lovely meal seated outside in the heated veranda, which is difficult to find similar ambience in other restaurants. Carlos was our waiter who was very friendly and with just the correct amount of attentiveness. He is a star and made our dining experience memorable. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough. It was for my mums 70th and she loved it. The food was gorgeous. My daughter had a painful wobbly tooth and all the waiters and waitresses made a fuss of her and got her warm drinks to sooth the pain. It was lovely and the decor is beautiful.

Great lunch at Albert’s. Went for the set menu which was really good value. Portion sizes perfect for lunch. It was beautifully presented and was delicious. All of the serving staff were great. It was a really hot day and we were directed to a table which had the best aircon so we were very comfortable and it was much appreciated! Will definitely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
