Oliveto brings Italian cuisine from the heart of the owners and Italian Chefs. Using local produce with the finest Italian ingredients the restaurant prides itself on quality food with a difference in a venue which provides an amazing setting. Whilst dining on excellent cuisine you can enjoy panoramic views of Weymouth Bay and the Jurassic coastline in a relaxed and grand setting. Respecting the building's origins as part of the piers bandstand the restaurant's decor nods to the past incorporating art deco features together with modern design. Both my husband and I were really disappointed having ordered drinks and starters to start our evening then we ordered main food the main food arrived before starter so they took it back and brought out the starter then we had that but when our main food came back out we could see clearly that it had been sat on the hot plate it was an anniversary meal Out and was totally ruined by this and we were made to feel it was our fault not a good experience

Thank you for your feedback, though I’m disappointed with your review. I personally re-cooked your ribeye and salmon to ensure they were fresh. The initial dishes were given to our staff, they were perfectly cooked, certainly not left under the hot plate. I would never allow a steak to sit for 15-20 minutes, it would ruin the quality and be poor management, especially with a medium ribeye Tagliata The starter was missed due to a waiter error, I apologize for that. Mistakes happen, and we always prefer to re cook meals, lose a steak and salmon and use it as an opportunity to train our team rather than let our standards slip. I’m sorry this minor error overshadowed your evening, but our priority is customer satisfaction. I hope you'll give us another chance to make it right. Best regards

Great place to eat, food done to perfection staff great. Lovely views would highly recommend. And a great saxophonist.

Service was pretty slow, waitress was lovely but service was slow. The brucetta starter wasn’t nice at all, the bread tasted funny, the main was lovely, beef fillet and ribeye was lovely, just too much dressing!

We were away on a celebration weekend and found Olivetto which was a delightful a delightful experience from start to finish . The service was very good and we never felt rushed , our waitress Chloe was lovely and treated us with the greatest respect . All four of us all had different main meals , Sea Bass , Steak based , Mussels a a beautiful sauce salmon Pasta with the lovely creamy sauce. We sat in the corner window which had good sea vies across the bay . We would have no hesitation in recommending to others and indeed booking ourselves when next in the area.

Upon entering Oliveto we were ignored by the first young person who started to tidy up menus, a blonde haired female who was most unfriendly and unwelcoming shouted "Name" this attitude did not improve when being shown to our table. Service was slow and unenthusiastic however when the food was served it was tasty. There was no ambience and we found ourselves whispering as we could hear other guests sitting nearby conversations. There were dirty glasses covering the top of the bar yet it was quiet with only approx 30 diners . This restaurant has the most beautiful setting with fabulous views over Weymouth Bay it is a real shame this restaurant is so poorly run and managed it could be brilliant.

This was a celebration meal for my friend and I completing the Jurassic coast section of the SWCP. The food we ate was good and the service was spot on. We had a late dining slot which meant towards the end of the meal, we were the last table occupied, which made our experience a little quiet but we would return again.

Seated at 630pm , on a Saturday evening with wonderful view across Weymouth Bay . Despite a wedding party in the main restaurant, the food and service was excellent . Once the sun had set , the lights were switched on in the separate room for circa 20 covers that we occupied and the brightness impacted on the external view . I suggest less bright bulbs or install a dimmer .
