There's nowhere better to savour a delicious traditional Afternoon Tea than The Montague, overlooking peaceful gardens in the heart of London or in our beautiful Leopard Bar.

Our Afternoon Tea includes a scrumptious selection of warmly baked plain and raisin scones, delicious cakes, and freshly hand-cut sandwiches including egg and mayo, smoked salmon, chicken, cucumber, and cream cheese. We ensure we pay proper respect to this special ritual while offering some intriguing variations on the original, with a delicious 'Prince & Princess' option for the little ones.

              Relaxing afternoon tea in a beautiful setting. They were able to accommodate gluten free diet and also a low sugar diabetic diet. It was the high point of a hectic day in London!

              Pour service and bad surprise when receiving the bill. The service was extra-charged which made the final price quite different from what was announced in Opentable reservation. Is it Opentable police to give prices without taxes or was The Montague unfair?

              Overall the price/quality ratio is low. Pros: nice environment with garden view, easy to get a table in short notice, friendly staff, service is good, it’s possible to refill the tea, vegetarian option is possible, kids are not forced to take the normal tea package like other places Con: the sandwiches are ok, the scones are good and the sweets are not so good. Most of the guests didn’t touch or finish the food.

              Nice sitting with view on the garden, although no tablecloth. The tea was served in a glass teapot without the possibility to remove the tea leaves, so it turned bitter after a while. Stuff was very attentif. The scones were a deception, they were hard and dry, probably not freshly made. And the small cakes were simply not tasty at all. The prize for that afternoon tea was just not worth it.

              I had high hopes when booking this afternoon tea experience and it was disappointing. The sandwiches were all soggy and stale. It seems like the tea set was premade a long time ago. The scones were not bad. We sat next to the vents/ fireplace and there were dust along the sides of the table. It was not pleasant at all. The server was nice and attentive but that cannot offset the poor execution of the food.

              接客も丁寧で、味も美味しかったです。量が多かったので、あまりおかわりしませんでしたが、時間があれば55ポンドでおかわり自由なので、ずっといたかったです。
