Served daily in the majestic, naturally-lit surroundings of the hotel’s dining room, The Lanesborough Grill, afternoon tea is accompanied by a pianist at weekends.

We went to the Bridgerton afternoon tea at The Lansbourgh yesterday to celebrate my sisters 30th. Service was very attentive, quick and polite but that was the only good thing I would say, it seemed like we was pushed in a corner of the room there was 7 of us, the table was a large round but defiently too small for everything that had to be put on the table, felt very claustrophobic. The afternoon tea in itself was very basic, not much flavour in any of it at all apart from the scones, they were delicious, nothing stood out and £85pp seemed alittle rip off, the theme is bridgerton but other than flowers around the stand and a few cakes nothing seemed themed about it at all. I can't fault the staff they were excellent though.

Very good themed afternoon experience - the venue was so pretty, lovely piano ambience in the background, everything was explained, the service was amazing, the pastries were so intricate and pretty. First time I finished it all!

It is expensive but worth every penny! The food is great and abundant. The place is beautiful and the staff polite and helpful!

The ambience and service was excellent. The food a little dull. The sandwiches were unremarkable. The scones were good but there was not enough cream. The cakes were very elaborate but all same ie all mousse. The tea menu was great. For value for monitor was poor and a compulsory service charge on top of the quoted press a shock

There was four of us and we really dressed up for the occasion, we was greeted openly and the staff was so attentive, the theme was amazing and the atmosphere was great what was even better was the little extra touches they put in for my sisters birthday! Thank you to all the staff 😊

Dear gentle reader .. We Eagerly awaited the Bridgerton afternoon tea, and it did not disappoint. The afternoon tea cakes and pastries selection was superb, with every item being light and bright and delicious. Oftentimes themed teas can look fantastic and lack in taste, but not so in this case. Even the scones were delightfully soft and fluffy. Unlimited refills on sandwiches which was bonus, as they are on the small side. Tea selection was not huge but there was a good selection to accompany the cakes. The setting as always is absolutely superb as is the rest of the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful and service was on point. Cost with service comes to just under £100 pp so it’s at the top end of the budget but worth it for a special occasion as the tea, ambience and service are all flawless. Highly recommended - and will be back soon!

A fantastic Afternoon tea, friendly attentive and professional staff. Food quality was very good and we were looked after very well. Would definitely recommend.

As my friend is familiar with Bridgerton series, we decided to do the themed Afternoon Tea at the Lanesborough and was not disappointed. Friendly service and beautiful set up of food and tea.
