Served daily in the majestic, naturally-lit surroundings of the hotel’s dining room, The Lanesborough Grill, afternoon tea is accompanied by a pianist at weekends.

Lovely setting for a treat. Attentive staff. Some of the food wasn’t to our tasting but some of the desserts were delicious

Fantastic service and the room is beautiful. The sandwiches were lovely but the cakes were not the best this time. Also it's getting very expensive, as are most things I guess. But the service, staff and the setting are amazing and it's a lovely treat.

Wonderful experience. Went with my 11 year old daughter and it was the higlight of her stay in London. Extremely attentive service, the waiter made my daughter feel very special. We absolutely loved the ambience.

The ambience and staff at the Lanesborough were lovely and the sandwiches were delicious. However the afternoon tea was let down by the pastries which all had the same soft texture. At £98 it wasn't value for money at all.

The experience was amazing. There was a handsome waiter and he made our day. Every line he said was perfect. The food was great, we are picky but was delicious. Moreover, the atmosphere; lovely. The piano good! Made me feel like i was in Switzerland, but i wasn’t. Thank you!

*Afternoon tea - Vegan menu. The Lanesborough decor, ambiance and service were second to none. All of the members of staff we encountered were friendly, polite and engaged with us throughout our visit. The service in particular was impeccable and at no point were we left waiting or wanting for anything. Unfortunately, as is the case with many vegan offerings, flavour and texture were sacrificed. Particularly disappointing were the scones, which had a distinctive taste and were not sweet enough. On a more minor note, when serving vegan cream, it looses its integrity if left to get to room temperature. One of the pastries (had candy stripes) was very disappointing in terms of taste. We came with high expectations given the venue and sadly they were not met.

Staff was very friendly and attentive. We went on Christmas Eve and the decorations were beautiful. The food was fantastic. Highly recommend.
