Served daily in the majestic, naturally-lit surroundings of the hotel’s dining room, The Lanesborough Grill, afternoon tea is accompanied by a pianist at weekends.

The service was variable- Giacomo was exceptional- others not quite so good. It seemed to take an eternity to get a refill of tea depending who it was requested from. Tea - the sharing cake was amazing. I won’t give away the flavour but delicious. The theme was fun but not carried fully through. The cocktail was lovely. Delivering scones at the start leaves scones that are now cold by the time you eat them. A lovely experience but probably won’t return- there are better tasting afternoon teas around.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food, good slection of teas, tasty cocktail and non-alcoholic champagne. They are willing to offer alternatives for any kinds of intolerances or allergies. Beautiful interior.

Such a wonderful afternoon with delicious food and lovely ambience. The tea was piping hot and the food was fresh!

Disappointed it wasn't more Bridgerton themed! Apart from the menu and the decorated cake stands you would have thought it was a Bridgerton afternoon tea. No music to relate to the show, no mention of the characters when the cocktails were given. Two glasses came half full and not rectified. Quite disappointed for the money we paid

The cakes were nice themed all a bit creamy, sandwiches bit dry, no offering of extra savoury. Only bridgeton theme was flowers on stand and menu. I believe there was someone playing piano earlier, ours was 4:30 booking so no music. Room was very prettty and could imagine it as dining room in show. Service was great, had to ask for extra tea and as said no offering of extra savoury or sweet like at other afternoon teas for this price.

Service was appalling, special occasion ruined. Would expect 5* silver service for £98 a head. Had better service in McDonald’s

I was really disappointed we weren't in the Grill room. We were placed in a much smaller room. Tables close together, my chair kept getting bumped. I had been before so had something to compare it to. Staff seemed in training, confusion with orders. The only thing that saved it was Bruno the manager. Smooth talker, birthday cake for my friend. I would go again but make sure I asked for the Grill Room. In the end I did enjoy it, but didn't start off well.

Excellent in all aspects. The Bridgerton Afternoon Cream Tea is a delightful experience. We had high expectations for a family celebration and we were not disappointed. Food, service, atmosphere all first class.
