Guests enjoy a pot of properly brewed English tea accompanied by scones served with Devonshire cream and preserves, savory tea sandwiches, and a delightful array of classic tea pastries.

Afternoon Tea, a decades-long tradition at The Brown Palace, is set amid the historic grandeur of the Atrium Lobby serenaded by a melodic piano. Guests enjoy a pot of properly brewed English tea accompanied by scones served with Devonshire cream and preserves, savory tea sandwiches, and a delightful array of classic tea pastries.

$10.00 per person for Vegan and / or Gluten- Free. Parties of five or more, please choose a maximum of three teas. Complimentary second plate of sandwiches included. Twenty percent gratuity will be added for parties of five or more. We will not accept more than three credit cards per party, and the check will be split evenly.

I think The Brown Palace needs to step up their tea time game. I feel like every year it’s less of an extravagant affair to sit for afternoon tea here. The food is lacking in quantity, overall variety, flavor and presentation. The service and attention to detail are also lacking. It takes way too much effort and time waiting to get the attention of the server and no less than 20 minutes for the server to return with your requested item. I have enjoyed this tradition for several years during the holidays and sadly will consider other options in the future if the current tea offering doesn’t improve.

nice but really pricey by the time you pay parking and per person over 100 a piece and that was least exspensive one

Most incredible experience! I surprised my husband for our 16th anniversary! More ideal for lunch as we went around 1:30p.m. Will bring my daughter next time and friends! 100/10!

I took my daughter for her 12th birthday and we had an amazing time! The finger foods and tea were delicious. The ambience and experience were fantastic! It’s pricey but it is good!

It was delightful. The Brown was decorated for the holidays and looked so beautiful. The service was great. The food was good, and I didn't realize we could have two plates of sandwiches.it was very nice. The only thing that was a surprise was the price went up from the time I made the reservation. It is quite expensive but I understand you are paying for the experience and ambiance of a historic hotel.

Holiday tea is a very popular event. Music played in the background but voices were more niticeable. Beautifully decorated . Food was disappointing especially for the cost.

We made reservations months ago and were seated at a table in front of the stairs because they had no room. The tea was great but the food was mediocre.

My tea was not hot when it was poured, and the food was just ok. The scones were very dried out. Disappointing!

Wow, an experience that has been an annual event over 24 years has just came a possible skipper. Got the reservation 3 months in advance, experienced VALET being increased to 31.00 plus tip - The valet took my keys, gave me no ticket and left me where I had parked. When I came out after tea he asked me to identify my vehicle still parked where I had left it, he found my key and gave it to me. The only difference was the 15 point turn to get it out of the predicament that the valet got me into by parking vehicles so tight front to rear against me - hint make the valet get you out of that situation. The actual TEA situation is atrocious- WE had a Party of 5 THEY served the CHADON FIRST, before water, before tea. We had a table of 5 and one the tea, before we even had food on the table and one f our group had nothing in front of her. . WHAT!!! The waitress barely acknowledged us the whole time.. We finally had some other patron offer to take a group picture and that was when a waitress from a different section offered to take our picture. Good try but NOT the holiday beginning we were all wanting.
