Steaks were under cooked and manager tried to tell us why we were wrong about the food being lukewarm and under cooked. Definitely would not comeback.

A wonderful view, great service and the meal was excellent. The seafood tower for two was too much, took some home.

We had the brunch buffet. The food was barely warm in the chafing dishes. We mentioned it to our server and barely got an apology. When we went back up a second time they were just lighting the burners, so again the food was not hot. We’ve been many times and were extremely disappointed.

Carson was a great server. Provided excellent balance of knowledge of the menu balanced with my preferences and made some risky recommendations that definitely paid off ! Takes great intuition to do something like that ! He trusted fully in the restaurant and the kitchen staffs abilities and recommended the lobster Mac even after I told him I love lobster Mac but restaurants rarely make it how I like it !!! He took the risk and it was great. I also told him I usually don’t like bread pudding but sometimes do. He recommended that as well and it was perfect. So much flavor in each item we ordered and prepared wonderfully ! This was a wonderful experience with breathtaking skyline views over Lake Michigan and i rarely go to the same restaurant two times but I will be coming back in the future absolutely without a doubt. Great to have partaken in this wonderful experience during what was otherwise a rough birthday weekend/vacation for me ! Hope to enjoy visiting here many times in years to come ! Out of hundreds (maybe closer to a thousand now) of restaurants I have been too. This would rank Top 5. I rarely leave reviews. Only when a place is horrendous or absolutely excellent. This was a top tier place to enjoy a lovely romantic dinner and would also pair well for family events.

First of all, the food was excellent, both the elk chop and the duck breast. Our server was lacking. She did not check on us often and was always slow in bringing items like silverware, salt, dessert menu, etc. The restaurant ran out of takeout boxes so they gave us clear Tupperware quart containers, which did not fit the chops. And then afterwards said that they ran out of carrying bags. We were the first dinner seating at 5:30 p.m. They were expecting us to walk out of the restaurant with four clear quart containers full of food and a corked magnum wine bottle that we had left over. They did finally locate a bag for us from somewhere else after many minutes of waiting. We also waited about 10 minutes for the dessert menu, because the server said she accidentally put it on someone else's table??? The tables surrounding us also experienced forgotten orders and poor service. A lady seated next to us never got her broccolini. The restaurant needs better staffing and management!

When we arrived we were placed at a table right next to loud ladies and the restaurant was not busy Our first course which was soup came out cold The chicken and beans dish was not enjoyable or tastey. If we pay $100 for food it should be hot, fresh and in this case it was slimy pork cheek and beans (as if they were trying to save money with beans (instead of a slaw or potato With dessert the strawberry dessert was good but my friends dessert with peach custard flan was hard as a rock she couldn’t eat it The decaf coffee we ordered was cold (and our waiter said he just brewed it. Overall I won’t be back. Such a shame bad food with a great view.

We had the most exceptional dining experience. The staff was super friendly and attentive to our every needs. The view was spectacular, the food was it outstanding and would definitely visit again.

Ambiance was great, views hard to beat. Our service was perfect, not overdone and was available. However, for the food it was ok, mediocre. The accompanying oyster was so over marinated it had to be returned. The scallops were good but the risotto, which was special requested, had a disappointing texture. The Elk chop, not open for complimenting, taste was not there. Three chops had three different thickness, one was medium well, one medium and one medium rare. I requested medium rare. So had a great evening at a great place but don’t go with great expectations because of the prices. Had to say if I would recommend maybe maybe not.

Our reservation was for 5:45pm. We got there at 5:41 and were told we’d have to wait until 5:45 to be seated. I understand the requirement to stick to the schedule but once we did get seated, we sat for a very long time without seeing our waitress. We received plenty of water but no one to take our drink or food order for an excessive wait time. Once we did see our waitress she was pleasant but no real apology for the delay. The food was good for the price but not exceptional. The waitress neglected to tell us that the gratuity had already been added to the bill but luckily we caught this. Disappointing experience for the amount of money we spent.
