We’ve been going to Adega for years now and it never disappoints. Marco always makes sure you’re welcomed like a family member throughout the night not to mention his extensive knowledge of Portuguese wines. They have a huge and impressive selection. All the servers are attentive and yet not intrusive. The mark of a true server vs “just a gig”. Dimitri who was our server was on point as usual and helped us out when we realized we were running behind for our show at 8pm. Swiftly he managed to get us served and out in time to make the show without compromising the expertise of a great anniversary dinner. Adega is a true “experience” restaurant and one where you’re not rushed. The joy of dining out is not lost in this Toronto gem.

Delicious food, speedily prepared and delivers to the table. Excellent, efficient and friendly service. However the price point is high - $200 per meal, including service and tip. Strikes me as being on the high side, even at this quality point.

We had a lovely meal. My partner especially liked the lobster ravioli, which was the special feature item. Our server, Tiago, was friendly, good humored, and attentive. Our food was served in a timely manner, and the atmosphere was warm, calm, and culturally authentic.

I’ve been going to Adega for over 30 years. Quality is always high and consistent. Never a bad meal. Excellent service—attentive without being intrusive. Good value. One thing I miss is the bread. It’s changed and the current offerings are not as delicious as the previous. But a minor detail. More importantly is that it is not accessible and that is a problem since I have mobility issues. Doesn’t stop me from going though because the food is so good.

Great service, and we had some great dishes but some dishes had similar ingredients and were not of consistent quality/cooking. We would highly reccomend the shrimp bisque, octopus and pork belly and whole red snapper, however there should be some consideration into calling an item a signature dish and then serving an overcooked octopus for a main signature dish, which we had to send back. Also the mashed potatoes on the lamb could be improved and were average. Overall the atmosphere was great and we loved the booth cubby holes that gave you an intimate setting.
