Small but quaint and busy. The hostess at first was not helpful even though we had a reservation. She redeemed herself and had our table close to our reservation time. The server was great and food was good

Hadn’t been to 75 Chestnut since the fall of 2013 and found ourselves back in the neighborhood. Walking through the door we immediately felt “back home.” The food was superb and the service was impeccable.

Excellent experience at 75 Chestnut. The cozy and inviting atmosphere was made better by a very attentive and engaging server. The food was wonderful, particularly the lobster pasta which was fresh tasting and a nice combination of pasta, tomato and delicate seasoning, letting the lobster shine through. We look forward to returning!

We ate here for my husband's 75th birthday which coincidentally coincides with the name of the restaurant. First we enjoyed drinks at the bar as we were early for our reservation. The hostess made sure we got the requested table by the window which was decorated beautifully for fall. She even gave my husband one of their ball caps with 75 on it for his birthday! So kind! I had the pork chop which was cooked per my request and was delicious as were the sides, except the carrots were under cooked. My hubby had the seafood stew which he enjoyed their bread was also good. Then the server Dana recommended the chocolate chip cookie dessert which he received complimentary for his birthday. It was divine! The atmosphere, the noise level and the great staff all made for a memorable evening!! Highly recommend.
