Please join us at 740 Front in Historic Downtown Louisville. Designated historical, 740 is one of Colorado's two oldest remaining saloons; transformed back to its 1904 roots; a traditional American dining saloon with a turn of the century ambiance featuring a magnificent room dominating bar, built in 1880 by the Brunswick Company,. The copper spit trough, once equipped with running water, still exists at the front of the bar. Louisville, notorious for its drinking, gambling, and illegal activities, evidence of the occasional misunderstanding is the .22 caliber bullet hole in the front bar.
The bar offers a selection of craft beers, wines, handcrafted cocktails and an extensive craft bourbon selection.

Wonderful neighborhood restaurant. Good food and wine. Service is a tad slow as limited staff to handle the frida full house

First time here and will return. Excellent service considering the restaurant was very busy. The food was outstanding and all of us (6) had something different. Everybody enjoyed what they ordered.

Came here for our 33rd anniversary. We were seated in the upstairs area, very intimate. They gifted us glasses of Prosecco, for the occasion. I had the blackened salmon, my wife had the bison filet. Both excellent!

Overall it was a good experience. My wagyu strip steak was barely warm, but other items were entree/side items were hot.

We ordered the roasted beet salad, which was terrific! My daughter had a filet, perfectly cooked. I had grilled shrimp & scallops - excellent. We also had some very good wine with our dinner - highly recommend! We'll be back:)

Charming, historic restaurant. We ate on the outside patio which is lovely. The service was excellent and our waiter was very attentive. The food was very good. We had a delicious burger. The mussels and manicotti were also very good. We will definitely go back there. It is a little gem of a place in Louisville, CO.
