Please join us at 740 Front in Historic Downtown Louisville. Designated historical, 740 is one of Colorado's two oldest remaining saloons; transformed back to its 1904 roots; a traditional American dining saloon with a turn of the century ambiance featuring a magnificent room dominating bar, built in 1880 by the Brunswick Company,. The copper spit trough, once equipped with running water, still exists at the front of the bar. Louisville, notorious for its drinking, gambling, and illegal activities, evidence of the occasional misunderstanding is the .22 caliber bullet hole in the front bar.
The bar offers a selection of craft beers, wines, handcrafted cocktails and an extensive craft bourbon selection.

Tried this restaurant, again, hoping for a fine dining experience. Unfortunately the food was marginal as usual. It’s unfortunate - I love to support my local restaurants, won’t be back to this one anytime soon.

Everything about our evening was fantastic at740 Front. The only observation is that the out door dining tables were too small for drinks and appetizers for four people.

Two of the four who dined, ordered the lamb chops which were extremely overcooked to the point of no flavor. The side of mashed potatoes was tepid in temperature. All and all the food was very disappointing. The waiter and service were excellent as was the ambiance. Very likely will not dine there again.

We had a great dinner! My husband had the Wagu steak and I a filet. Both were cooked exactly as we ordered and delicious. Our sides, madhed potatoes and spinach also were great. The Caesar was terrific and we finished with The Cherry Pie Co cherry pie with ice cream! A perfect anniversary dinner!!

We really enjoyed our dinner at 740 Front. My husband had the bison filet and I had tenderloin. Both had great flavor and were cooked beautifully. We’ll be back!

Great food and service. Very nice atmosphere. The place is pretty open so the noise level can get loud depending on how busy it is. Otherwise very nice. Would definitely go back.

Great service and good food. Hostess made an impromptu stencil for our daughter to color. Really nice and friendly neighborhood restaurant.
