56 North is Scotlands oldest gin bar and also a working micro gin distillery. It serves Scottish and continental food.

56 North is particularly renowned for its collection of gin with over 400 spirits and extensive cocktails & drinks menus features fine wines, local Scottish beers. South Loch Gin distillery is part of the bar and the gin distillery is in the bar to view. The food menu offers an extensive range of gourmet burgers, salads and main items.

    Had Itison vouchers so very good value. Staff lovely. Only group in restaurant.

    Great food and great staff! We had the burgers and they were really good, so hats off to the kitchen staff.

    We arrived a little early. we were greeted well and shown to our table. Waitress took our order for drinks they dualy arrived. Made our food order 1 starter to share and our mains. I thought the starter was taking a long time to come. the waitress then turned up with the mains. I asked her where the starter was, and she replied, "I thought you wanted it together." What do you say to that? We didn't enjoy the meal the food was ok but just the main and starter together didn't work. I was going to say I wanted another drink. A waitress swooped in and asked " is everything ok?" As I went to reply, she was gone. Only paying lip service , had no intentions of listening or interested in a reply.
