    We’re hosting Thanksgiving this year at the 555 East in Downtown Long Beach. Reserve your table today and leave the details to us on Thursday, November 28. Our three-course Thanksgiving menu will be available all day, featuring your choice of starter (clam chowder or mixed organic greens), choice of entrée (roasted turkey or Nueske’s applewood smoked spiral ham, served with roasted garlic mashed potatoes, traditional cranberry sauce, homemade sourdough apple-celery stuffing and turkey gravy) and your choice of dessert (pumpkin cheesecake or old fashioned chocolate cake). Adults are $72 and children (under 12) are $26 per person. Our full menu will also be available all day. Secure your table today!

    555 is a culinary institution, I’ve been dining here for decades - and they continually are the best - in steaks, service, and sumptuousness. Lunch today was a wild jumbo shrimp cocktail - a classic, here it’s popular and so chilled, always fresh: As are the in-housed shucked oysters. Most oysters taste better in autumn/winter and they are best here, The American Wagyu 12oz. ribeye, prepared medium rare was executed perfectly - complimented with sautéed spinach, made for a wonderful afternoon. And a pleasant greeting by host, Abel - it’s nice to go where everybody knows your name.

    555 East - One of my favorites in Long Beach! Whenever my sister and I want a dining experience, we head to 555 East, and it never disappoints! The food here is absolutely fabulous, and we always start with the Baked Goat Cheese—perfectly warm, with roasted garlic and bruschetta. Their steaks are phenomenal; the daily cuts like the porterhouse and T-bone are amazing, but my favorite is the surf and turf. I’ve ordered it the last two times, and each time, my rare filet was cooked perfectly, and the lobster tail was tender and full of flavor. We love sitting outside to catch the sunset and a glimpse of the ocean. Sure, there’s some traffic noise from Ocean Blvd, but the view and ambiance more than the makeup for it. 555 East has a bring-your-own wine policy with no corkage fee, making it surprisingly affordable for such a high-end meal. You can even request a decanter! Also, if you’re lucky, you’ll get Brad as your server. He’s simply the best—knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely warm. I highly recommend this restaurant and Brad as your server!

    My wife and I were a little late but they took us in and we only waited less than 5 minutes. We were greeted instantly and we ordered our drinks right away. It was a busy night but the service was very consistent. We ordered appetizers which were the octopus and the sautéed bbq jumbo shrimp. Both were phenomenal and didn’t disappoint. After that we ordered our food, both prime ribeye. I ordered mine medium and my wife’s medium well. Both were cooked perfectly and had an amazing amount of flavor. We also got the Mac and cheese with asparagus that didn’t disappoint. Overall this place is very good and very respectable. Highly recommend for a 5 star steak dinner.

    An excellent place for a special occasion! Everything we ordered was delicious. Crab cakes, calamari, shrimp, clam chowder, filet mignon medallions, and cheesecake!

    Waiter was great. Suggested a good bottle of wine. Entree prices are steep. Kind of noisy. But tasty food.

While I typically reserve my critiques for professional purposes, an incident during my recent visit to 555 East has compelled me to share my personal reflections. Let me begin by acknowledging the culinary excellence that 555 East consistently delivers. The steak, accompanied by two impeccably prepared sides and a pair of expertly crafted martinis, was nothing short of sublime—a testament to the kitchen's unwavering commitment to quality. However, the service on this occasion was notably subpar, a stark contrast to the culinary prowess on display. The server's demeanor was devoid of warmth and enthusiasm, marked by a palpable lack of attentiveness and care. It was evident that this was not a matter of prejudice or bias, but rather an unfortunate lapse in professional hospitality. Despite this regrettable experience, my fondness for 555 East remains unshaken. I will undoubtedly return to savor their remarkable fare, albeit with the intention of requesting a different server to ensure a more congenial dining experience.

    555 for lunch - a crispy chicken sandwich - with avocado and slaw, is delicious. Every bite was delicious and crunchy, what a treat! The flavor combination is a winner. The food and service here never disappoint nor the presentation and overall dining experience.
