Le restaurant 221 occupe une maison historique rénovée avec goût, nichée entre les arbres sur South Oak Street, à quelques pas de la télécabine. Pendant des années, le 221 South Oak a été réputé pour son atmosphère intime, sa délicieuse nourriture, son incroyable carte des vins, son service amical et une qualité hors pair. La chef/propriétaire Eliza vous servira une cuisine classée comme bistrot moderne, avec un mixte éclectique de saveurs et de styles : Un mélange de fruits de mer, gibier et viande bovine, avec des accompagnements qui vont de l'extrême sud au Calypso, aux classiques français et à la cuisine californienne et créole. Il s'agit bien de la cuisine d'Eliza. Venez déguster les bloodies, les benedicts et les beignets pour le brunch tous les dimanches de 10h00 à 13h00.

Amazing food, drinks, and service! We enjoyed the elk and duck, both were fabulous and paired with delicious wine by recommendation of sommelier.

An absolutely phenomenal night. Our favorite dining experience in a long time. Two things really stood out to us -- the creativity (and deliciousness) of the food AND the young woman running the restaurant. She could not have been more welcoming and made us feel so special. She clearly runs an incredible service team as well. Our favorite dish had to be the rack of lamb. Best restaurant in Telluride!

We had a fantastic experience! The menu was so good that is was hard to choose which entree to select. Food was so delicious!

An excellent dining experience! A superb vegetarian/vegan menu that even for this carnivore outshined the bison short rib. Wonderful team that made us feel at home. We look forward to returning!

This restaurant is so lovely, many fabulous choices on their extensive menu, beautiful and delicious food, gorgeous art on the walls, we came back and had another terrific meal again. I'm giving it only 4 stars because our waiter had a very strange and off-putting attitude. It seemed like he did not want to be there but had to endure. Maybe there's been a change since then, hopefully. Otherwise, everything is really terrific!

The food was phenomenal. I had the mountain trout with raviolis and it was cooked perfectly. The drinks were also well made and delicious. Our favorite meal while staying in telluride.

We had the scallops starter, bison short ribs and trout. The food was well prepared and delicious. The complimentary bread was served warm. Our server was pleasant and attentive and our meal was timed very well so that we enjoyed each course and never felt rushed.

Delicious appetizers, tempura artichoke barata salad and scallops and pork belly followed by duck confit and chicken dishes were all very good. Awesome service from Arturo made the evening. Cheers
