Not sure why, but we were the second class citizens of 22 Bowens tonight….it wasn’t our first time, but it will be our last. I watched my waitress provide the specials and chat upon introduction with every table around us. She didn’t chat with us, which is fine, but she also didn’t share the specials… After the entree, she briefly shared the desserts verbally and we watched others get a dessert menu and further hospitality, like kind words and patience. The service was disappointing, to say the least

We had a wonderful dining experience at 22 Bowens Wine Bar and Grille! The fillet was cooked to perfection, it was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. What truly made our evening stand out was our server, Jennifer. She was attentive, friendly, and her knowledgeable service made our experience even better. She had great recommendations and ensured we had a wonderful dining experience.

Grace did an outstanding job serving us for our anniversary dinner. We had wonderful steak dinners and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience!

The food was very good but marred by the service that was chaotic although it appears this was nothing to do with the server eg. - the sides did not arrive until the main components were half eaten. - The wrong wine was brought then took some time to arrive with the correct wine. - the sauce for one main never arrived

I was excited to dine here but quickly was dismayed as we were sat at a small table by kitchen that was entirely too loud for a date night. I had raved of the food but to my surprise my spinach and mushrooms were cold when served along with the scallops being overcooked and dry. I was not happy with the meal at all. Also the waiter just put desert menus in our hands without speaking as if to shoo us along like we were a bother. Not pleasant since it was my guests first time there from out of town. Disappointing experience

Great restaurant on the Bowen Wharf. We had Arctic Char, Veal Chop, Mussels, Clam Chowder- all superb!! Outstanding array of wines from around the world! Carolyn did an excellent job on service!!

It was Saturday night so much noisier than when we usually go midweek. It is THE place to go for steak in Newport. The manager, Mike, was very accommodating and made sure our experience was top notch after we did not get our requested table. Total class.
