Manny was our server and he was great. The host was also fantastic and the food was really good. Probably best restaurant in Newport.

This is a great restaurant. If you get SARA as your server you will not be disappointed. She is probably the most personable server I've ever had. The food was wonderful, not rushed at all (which is so rare these days), My only 2 criticisms are that I really hate the tiny tables. Barely any room on the tables for food. One other consideration. My husband is a bourbon drinker and $50/glass for Blanton's was really high. We buy it all the time and this was the highest price per glass we've ever seen. That's it - Would definitely go again/

We went the evening after Labor Day, and although there was plenty of room downstairs, the host sat us upstairs in the middle of 12 other full tables. The bar upstairs was closed, so our waiter had to go up and down the stairs for drinks for all the tables, which made for an unacceptable wait time for our cocktails. Kitchen is downstairs too. I would have thought that 22 Bowen would be smart enough to seat people downstairs if they have the room. On the other hand, the food was delicious. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the origins of the different entrees. However, we were 1/3 way into our dinner when the waiter finally brought over the pepper mill...the delay probably caused by being downstairs fetching food and drinks. 22 Bowen has always been a favorite of mine. Next time I will be sure to ask for a table on the first floor during the off season.

Excellent service and an outstanding midday meal. The Turf and Surf Burger is a masterpiece! And you can’t beat people-watching in Newport on a warm summer day from the comfort of the covered patio tables… delightful!!

Enjoyed the whole experience Our server, John F was attentive, knowledgeable and timely on an very busy day in Newport! All the food was delicious …. And we had an array of foods including chowder, bisque, cold and hot seafood and steak !

I haven't dined here in years. I have been to many of the other Newport restaurant group members. The waiter was very professional and friendly. It was a rainy day but we sat out on the porch and he pulled down the very clean and transparent when break. The food was very good but I would say it was a bit expensive compared to other of their restaurants. But the wine was delicious and served proper temperature.

22 Bowen was worth the price, we went for lunch and had amazing service. Our food was cooked to perfection. The French onion soup was perfection, the cheese was amazing. Wagyu burger was worth the price. Highly recommend
