Welcome to the 1920 Tavern. A speak-easy style restaurant and pub in downtown Roswell that features a globally-inspired cuisine. The quaint, casual restaurant in Roswell, GA offers a sophisticated mix of cocktails and spirits along with their impressive dishes great for brunch, lunch, and dinner. 1920 Tavern’s refined but approachable cuisine showcases an array of fresh greens, savory starters, market-fresh seafood, and enchanting entrees.

Inspired by the sophistication and the playfulness of the “speakeasy” style, 1920 Tavern’s walls are lined with antique mirrors, crystal accents and globe lighting that provides a natural ambiance which makes it one of the best pubs in Roswell. Dark brown wood and leather banquettes with a contrast of diamond-shaped white tiles beneath the beautifully suspended light pendants that hang over the bar and dining area. The newly constructed bar offers a comfortable space to watch the bartenders create your favorite beverages.

We had a great experience dining at 1920 Tavern. Their menu has many options and everything we ordered was delicious. The Tavern Salad was an excellent start to the meal. We all ordered seafood dishes but there are many other options. We also shared white chocolate cheesecake, the perfect finish! The service was very good with an attentive server with other servers also stopping by to make sure we had what we needed and were pleased with the meal. Really a wonderful experience!

We enjoyed a birthday celebration. Enjoyed the outside patio and people watching. Enjoyed the great live music. Food is always great. Parmesan Grouper is a nice consistently fantastic dish. Calamari appetizer was yummy. The Chef came to our table several times and is caring about his guests and their dining experience. The wait staff is always very responsive as well.

We went to 1920 Tavern with friends for the first time. We were very impressed. Drinks were good and a nice selection of dishes on the menu. Everything everyone ordered was delicious, food came out quick and service was wonderful. No complaints here.

Everything was wonderful from being greeted, our server Jeanne, the food and being told have a wonderful day upon leaving. The best part was the wonderful service we received from Jeanne. She gave us recommendations which we tried and were not disappointed. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive and her service impeccable. We will be back in the very near future. Thank you 1920 for a wonderful experience.

Food was great. Service was beyond great. Lobster ravioli had an incredible amount of lobster - seriously - it was so good. We had two birthdays - my daughter and my niece. The brought two desserts with a candle in each and comped each. Very nice move. Love this place.

Food, drinks and service are always the best here. My smokey rum old fashion never disappoints and the watermelon skinny margarita is delightful. Goat cheese ravioli is so yum and even though a small plate, plenty when paired with a half portion of any of their fabulous salads. The keto lasagna was very delicious. My favorite is always the salmon bruschetta. My only complaint is how noisy it is in there. Grab an outside table if at all possible or be prepared to yell across the table to your dining partner. But don’t let that dissuade you from eating there. It is worth it.

We had dinner with a 7:45pm reservation on Thursday night during the Alive After 5 event in Roswell. The 1920 team got us seated by 7:55. This may sound bad but they were packed to the gills (as was all of Canton St) for the Alive After 5 festivities. Once seated, we ordered within 5-10 minutes and had our food in another 10. The 1920 team (3 or 4 people) stopped by multiple times to see if we needed anything before and during our meal. Truly this was a heroic service event due to the crowd they were managing! Food was also excellent! We had the Scallop Tacos and Chicken Quesadilla...along with some White Bean Chili (soup). All great.
