Le 1808 American Bistro sert une cuisine américaine classique avec des touches cajuns et du Sud. Les steaks sont grillés au fil des commandes. Les crevettes et les «grits» ont du mordant. Vous pourrez savourer un assortiment délicieux de sauces maison, de vinaigrettes, de rémoulades, de tapenades, d'aïolis et de demi-glaces. Sans parler des pâtes, des hamburgers, des sandwichs, des salades, des entrées et des desserts, tous mettant l'eau à la bouche. Le bar complet propose 48 bières artisanales froides en fût et un assortiment délicieusement grisant de vins et spiritueux. Faites un arrêt pour le dîner, ou pour le souper, ou pour une bière, ou pour toute combinaison qui titille votre fantaisie. Les réservations sont recommandées pour la salle à manger.     This was our second brunch, and it was wonderful. My group has had most of the menu at this point, and everything has been perfectly delicious. The service is also excellent. If anyone from the restaurant is reading this, we'd love a creative mimosa on the menu and a bacon platter for sharing or the option to add it as a side.

    We both had the 1808 salad and ,as our entree, shrimp and grits. Salad was fresh...we liked the raspberry vinegarette dressing. The shrimp and grits were shared in a delicious creamy sauce...just the right mix of spices. Service was efficient and the waitress was friendly.

    A nicely varied menu and everything an updated version of favorites. Not inexpensive but you get your monies worth and we took home another meal in leftovers. Service was exceptional and the atmosphere what you would expect of a fine yet casual dining experience. I highly recommend.

    Second time here. Both times really great. Service was really good. Drink specials for the Fair were superb. Seems a bit expensive but will go again.

    Pork chop was amazing - super juicy and the accompanying sauce complemented the dish well. Wife got the walleye - sauce was perfect and the fish was cooked to perfection. We always love the atmosphere here - it’s the right vibe and energy to enjoy an elevated date night, but it’s not over the top, fussy, or pretentious. The staff and waiters are always attentive and very down to earth - they’re not crazy fancy, but yet they’re certainly professionals in their craft, have good timing, and understand how to make your meal and experience enjoyable in the setting.

    As ALWAYS, the food, ambience, drinks and service were incredible. We got the filet medallions and the chicken special, which was something so unique I doubt any restaurant in the Short North could compare. It is beyond gratifying and exciting to see food like this in a quiet town like Delaware, but it's here, and you MUST try it!! The chef is constantly being inspired with new and creative things to do with food, but there is definitely something on the menu for everyone. Special shout-out to Nico and Noah, our servers, and Grace and Emma who made AMAZING mocktails for me!!
