We’re a farm-to-table restaurant that’s redefining what fine dining means. We work with local vendors and farmers to find the freshest, locally sourced ingredients. We understand the challenges of finding high-quality options that unique, vegan or allergy-friendly, especially since the owner has Celiac Disease herself, among other dietary restrictions. Our kitchen creates fresh food from scratch every day and can customize to your needs, so we’ve got you covered. Plus, we're the only restaurant in McHenry County to have received Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence, and our expert staff can help you choose the perfect pairing.

For us, fine dining is more than the very best in food, service and atmosphere. It’s a conversation and a connection to others. We believe everyone deserves good food so we’ve started a movement to do just that.

Food and drinks were great. Waiter was very friendly and talked a lot. He was certainly in no rush as his small talk was persistent. We were in no rush ourselves but as we wrapped up the main course and ordered desert he informed us there was a reservation upcoming and he felt that was a better time to mention before bringing our desert. My wife felt rushed and uncomfortable at that point. If they are concerned with time slots then the wait staff should definitely do a better job of keeping time and completing the guest experience in a timely fashion. Totally killed the vibe.

Best meal in Crystal Lake. Everything we had was delicious and came out well prepared. The service and staff were all great. We will definitely be returning!

Always our favorite place to go! New menu is awesome! Last night we had the Flank Steak...cooked to perfection and huge portion. Wine/Cocktail list is the best in town. No comparison.

Yummy food. Farm to table menu changes with the seasons and the variety is always delicious! Great wine pairings and list as well. Always a hit.

On our long drive from LaCrosse WI to West Chicago IL. Dinner time had us detouring to Crystal Lake in search of a highly rated restaurant 1776. Made 5P reservations as we drove. So glad we did. We found 1776 was as good as the reviews. Food was excellent. Impressive were friendly and attentive—special thanks to Heather! Nice ambiance. Highly recommend!
