                              Our server Ed made delicious cocktails, his recommendations were spot on, and the service by Ed and the entire staff was outstanding. We will be back, again for sure.

                              I found the reservation process confusing and unhelpful. I could only reserve a table two weeks before my anticipated date. Once reserved, could only book for the Tavern, not outside dining. I was allowed to book for outside dining 2 days prior to reservation date. This involved three calls and or online booking sessions. Once seated outside, the setting was nice, chairs uncomfortable, and area was buggy. The food was excellent and service very helpful. Almost made up for the difficulty in booking.

                              One of my wife's and my favorite restaurants in the Hamptons. We go there year after year for our anniversary. The ambience is amazing, the food and service are constantly excellent. And the noise level is low so you can easily hear the people sitting with you. Highly recommended!

                              From entering the restaurant, it is clear it’s all about the dining experience. Noise is at an appropriate level, the managers (Carol / Michael) are welcoming. The Prix-Fixe menu is a good deal especially if one opts for the steak ! Favorites like the fluke tartar (last night it was tuna) are very good and the sticky date cake is an ideal way to finish dinner. Service as always excellent

                              One of our favorite spots in the Hamptons. The back garden is so nice for dinner but inside is just as nice with a historical feel. Food and service are always fantastic.

                              I have had good experiences at 1770 House Tavern in the past but last night when I received my Hamachi Crudo it was tasteless. I should have sent it back, but I realized after I left that it was missing the citrus in the dressing. That is a big miss for this type of dish.
