1700° Steakhouse is a sophisticated, high-end restaurant featuring Midwestern prime, dry aged and certified Angus beef, seared to perfection in our 1700 degree broiler. The menu also has an abundance of the finest sustainable seafood from which to choose.
A place to see and be seen, this steakhouse is every bit as comfortable as it is refined. Large windows overlook Market Square, eight foot high glass wine cabinets showcase a substantial wine selection and feature photography walls, natural faux leather and cowhide finishes adorn the space.

    The steak we shared was a rib eye with blue cheese on top and it was excellent! Came with very small side of fingerling roasted potatoes and broccolini which were also very good. Here was the issue, the bar in 1700 was closed as was the dining room on that side. Sign of the times I guess. That meant we had to have our drinks at the AdLib bar which was extremely loud. We were seated in another section of the 1700. There were two different groups of guys in our section that we think were drunk and very, very loud. In an upscale restaurant like that you expect to have a nice quiet dinner. Not true in our case. Our waiter was Joseph who was excellent! Despite our experience we will go back because the food is so good!

    Service was excellent but food was good, just not superb. The filet was not as tender as I expected. Our appetizer the bone marrow was exceptional and our desert the crème brûlée amazing. I think I was expecting something more for our filet mignon in terms of both tenderness and flavor

    First time at 1700. Everything was perfection! The food, the cocktails, the wine, the service. Started with the Off the Wall Manhattan--best I've ever had. From the oysters to the bibb salad, to the filet w 1700 preparation and wine, finishing w the beignets for dessert. Everything was prepared to and served with perfection. We definitely will return!

    Everything was amazing, as usual. The evening exceeded expectations. Our server, ASHLEY, was quite possibly the best server we’ve ever had. We couldn’t ask for a better evening, thank you.

    This was my first dining experience at 1700 Steakhouse. A very accessible location with complimentary valet parking while dining. Everything was fantastic. Pricing is on the high side, but inline with the quality level of the food. Highly recommend for special occasions.

    Love this place. Had our wedding dinner here 3 years ago and we try to come back every anniversary. Great all the way around, best place to eat in the Harrisburg area. I put a note on my reservation that it was our anniversary and it was never brought up, until we declined dessert and they brought us a complimentary dessert platter. It was a perfect experience.

    Always an amazing experience! Our go to restaurant for special occasions! The whole staff was excellent and attentive to give us a great anniversary dinner
