1700° Steakhouse is a sophisticated, high-end restaurant featuring Midwestern prime, dry aged and certified Angus beef, seared to perfection in our 1700 degree broiler. The menu also has an abundance of the finest sustainable seafood from which to choose.
A place to see and be seen, this steakhouse is every bit as comfortable as it is refined. Large windows overlook Market Square, eight foot high glass wine cabinets showcase a substantial wine selection and feature photography walls, natural faux leather and cowhide finishes adorn the space.
In tandem with its sister cocktail lounge, 1700° Steakhouse presents signature craft and barrel aged cocktails and locally produced beer.

I was in town for a conference and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and service. The server Mark provided a friendly, quality service. I would dine here again next time I am in town.

Our experiences going to 1700 is always too notch and the service is impeccable. From the time you walk to the hostess stand, you are greeted with a bright smile, to the wait staff that serves the delicious courses with knowledge and a sincere kindness that always makes you feel welcomed. Rob and Mark are two waiters that go out of their way to make your dinner feel special every time we go. Highly recommended for a good time or a special evening.

Another great dinner at 1700 Degrees. Starters of a lobster tail and jumbo lump crab. Mains of dry aged NY Strip and Filet Mignon with foie gras. Sides of broccolini and roasted fingerling potatoes. Desserts of lemon tart and passion fruit cheesecake. All the food was well prepared and delicious. "Tyler" was our server and he was excellent; Friendly and efficient. The only disappointment was the 2016 Chateau Beau-Site, St Estephe which at $120 never opened up even after over an hour in the decanter. While the tannins, which were harsh at first, did smooth out after a while, there was a total lack of fruit both in the nose and the mouth. Avoid this bottle. There is no doubt that from food quality, ambiance and service, 1700 Degrees is the top dinner spot in Harrisburg. The old maxim applies, "You get what you pay for." Thanks to all in the kitchen and front-of-house for providing another great evening.

Listen, I’ve been coming to 1700 for many years now and I have asked each special occasion to just be blessed with the server I know and trust.. I asked for rob s or Tyler everytime we come and this last time we got some random dude named Mike that was not very wonderful at his job, had the personality of a wet dish cloth and did not KNOW any of us at all!! It was inexcusable when Tyler was in the next room and knew we asked for him personally before our dinner!!! Mike might be a nice person but he is Not who we wanted as our server and we were very disappointed with his lack of personality and knowledge..

Everything was amazing except the steak. So disappointing. All the money and two of the four of us had steaks cooked in correctly. It’s a steakhouse. Come on. Roadhouse can do better. The worst thing that can happen is sending food back and waiting for new food while everyone else is eating. Mine comes back out and everyone is finished with their meal.

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary there we had a great time and the food was delicious. Our server was the best.
